84th annual Academy Awards Red Carpet Fashion
This year we saw lots of white, red and gold but my Best Dressed of the night goes to Michelle Williams!

This coral number is by Louis Vuitton – I love the ruffles, I love the bow on her waist and I love her pixie hair cut. This girl is doing no wrong when it comes to the red carpet – remember her 2006 Vera Wang gown? Wow!

Other gowns that got my tick of approval:
Jessica Chastain wearing a bespoke Alexander McQueen hand-embroidered dress. |
Milla Jovovich wearing Elie Saab Couture. |
Penélope Cruz wearing Giorgio Armani. |
Cameron Diaz wearing Gucci Premiere. |
Interesting Choices goes to:
Gwyneth Paltrow for channeling Princess Leia – I’m so glad she got rid of the cape but even if she didn’t, I forgive her as I can never offend a Tom Ford creation.
And Emma Stone – kudos for being so daring to wear a gown that resembles Nicole Kidman’s Oscar red carpet wow-moment in 2007. Who would’ve forgotten that scarlet Balenciaga with a huge bow at her neck? Nicole still gets my vote.
A moment to remember goes to :
Meryl Streep winning her 4th Oscar on her 17th nomination!!!! Congrats!!!
This little gold man has been long overdue. The last time was won an Oscar was 29 years ago for lead actress in Sophie’s Choice. In my opinion, she deserved an Oscar for every nom – yes even her nom for The Devils Wear Prada (I love that movie!).
An honorable mention goes to her eco-friendly Lanvin gown. This is Lanvin’s first ever eco gown – made from Eco Certified Fabric as part of the Green Carpet Challenge.

“What The?” goes to:
Angelina Jolie’s awkward pose – Yes Ange – you didn’t have to pose like that on the red carpet, with Brad or on stage while presenting. Seriously….

And if you haven’t had enough of Ange’s Leg, you can follow it on twitter @AngiesRightLeg
