Congrats to the newly weds – The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge! Today marks the 2nd month anniversary for HRH William and HRH Catherine.
A few months ago, I was roaming the streets of London right before the Royal Wedding. The ‘Will & Kate’ fever followed us everywhere we went!
Colours of the Union Jack where flying all over town. Die hard fans had already started to camp outside the Buckingham Palace and the Westminster Abbey weeks before the wedding. Thinking CRAZY?! I know!!
Don’t get me wrong, I love The British Monarchy and I also love a real life fairy tale, plus how can you not like Will and Kate!
Hence, thus, therefore I also got myself one of “The Ring”:
Not quite the same as Kate’s 18-carat sapphire ring aye? I love it though!
It was natural to go and visit the Westminster Abbey during the hype of the “Wedding of the Century”. But I have a small embarrassing confession to make…. originally I thought The Palace of Westminster (ie where the Big Ben is) was the Westminister Abbey! Nevertheless, found the actual chapel and I have to say it is a piece of art!

The Westminister Abbey is a beautiful chapel. Its wonders how the carvings on the outside has been preserved for over a thousand of years.
Did you know…?
The wedding of the Dutch and Duchess of Cambridge was only the 16th Royal wedding to be at the Westminster Abbey.
How to get here:
